Junior/Mid-Level Web Developer (Angular + Ionic)
A Square is on the lookout for a passionate Web Engineer who’s fluent in TypeScript and experienced with the Angular framework to help us build elegant, high-performance user interfaces. You’ll be crafting reusable UI components and shipping them not only for the web, but also to mobile and desktop platforms using Ionic or similar cross-platform tools.

Nice To Haves
- Experience publishing to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Experience working with reactive state management
- Interest in progressive web apps (PWA) or native bridge integrations
- Contributions to open-source or a personal Github portfolio
- Experience working with backend systems for deploying Angular based projects
- Knowledge of working with hosting web apps on Amazon and Google services
- Technical writing and documentation skills
- A passion for making and playing video games
- Simulation or Educational training experience
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- Experience creating responsive and modular UI components using Angular
- Knowledge of sending and receiving RESTful messages and data from API’s
- Proficient writing clean and maintainable code using Typescript, HTML, & CSS
- Ability to deploy code as apps on iOS and Android using Ionic or a similar framework
- Capable of implementing features and systems with minimal guidance
- Self-motivated and able to follow instructions closely
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum and able to communicate effectively
- A solid understanding of modern development workflows (CI/CD, pnpm/npm/yarn, etc.)
- Experience working with Jira, including writing their own tickets as needed.
- Proficient working with git and github and resolving issues with source control
- Debugging, quality assurance, and problem-solving skills
